Emergency Food

Positive Passtime's Emergency Food Program consists of non-perishable and perishable products sorted by our volunteers. Our organization and partners strive to give premium service and food to better aid those in need of assistance. Positive Passtime distributes emergency a week supply of food free of charge to individuals, families, and children. The food boxes contain a week's supply of nutritionally balanced food. This food helps the family manage for a short time until they can get assistance from another agency. Our food program also supplements the grocery budgets of low-income individuals, senior citizens, and the disabled by stretching their budgets; by offering this service, we aim to help people maintain their homes and self-esteem.

Affordable Food program

We provide families and individuals with affordable food; the family food budget is one of the highest costs in a household. Our food boxes offer a unique solution to cutting household costs without sacrificing food quality. Each month a new menu is published online and given to partner host sites itemizing each box available for purchase. Order with payment is made online or at the local host site by the designated monthly deadline. Customers pick up their food boxes on the last Saturday of each month, called distribution day.

Operation Christmas

Positive Passtime conduct various activities throughout the year, including festivals, fundraiser and other voluntary events designed to increase interest in Operation Christmas toys and collect toys and monetary donations. The objectives are to help less fortunate children throughout the Gwinnett County experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of our most valuable resources – our children. Positive Passtime accepts donations in many forms. We accept donated toys, goods, monetary donations, and your service.

Christmas Donations

Donated Toys are carefully evaluated, distributed and donated to a needy family. When it comes to donating during the Christmas Season, most people think of giving toys to children or helping a family put a nice meal on the table. Teenagers are an often overlooked demographic when it comes to Christmas gifts.
The donations we receive during the Christmas Season go toward buying teen gifts. We generally request essentials for winter and everyday life for our teens. This request includes but is not limited to gift cards, gloves, scarves, hats, and educational assets.
Positive Passtime will be able to supply the community with more efficient service and more time to direct our attention to those who require assistance with your help.
